Under30CEO Focus: Entrepreneurship & Small Business Launched: 2009 Under30CEO is the leading media property for entrepreneurs, inspiring the world’s next generation of business leaders. Under30CEO features direct interviews with the most successful young people on the planet, profiles twenty-something startups, provides advice from those who have done it before, and publishes cutting edge news for the young entrepreneur. Under30Finance Focus: Personal Finance & Money Management Launched: 2012 Under30Finance tackles the all to important topic of personal finance for 20-somethings. Our educated community understands how important it is to build a financial foundation and wants the tools and tips to make the most of their money. Under30Careers Focus: Job Security & Growth Launched: 2012 Under30Careers is for the career minded young professional. Job security, happiness and growth has never been as important as it is today and our community wants the perfect fit. Under30Experiences Focus: Travel & Experiences Launched: 2012 Under30Experiences is our events company dedicated to giving young people a new perspective on life. Our international summits and excursions have brought young entrepreneurs to amazing places like our Startup Iceland Adventure, GREEN Business Tour Costa Rica, and Microfinance Surf Camp Nicaragua.

WHO WE ARE

Jared O'Toole Co-Founder Jared O’Toole graduated Ithaca College with a finance degree and like so many other business majors he quickly realized corporate life was not a path for him. Instead, he got passionate about entrepreneurship, branding and how companies could leverage new media tools online. This change in heart led him to co-found Under30Media, a network of sites dedicated to inspiring young people with the resources needed to succeed on their journey including Under30CEO, Under30Finance, and Under30Careers. O’Toole has led Under30CEO to features on The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Yahoo! Finance to name a few. Matt Wilson Co-Founder Matt Wilson is co-founder of Under30Media. After using social media to land Under30CEO on MSNBC and BusinessWeek, he began building brands online including venture backed startups like Zaarly. Wilson’s passion for entrepreneurship began after leading Bryant University to becoming the world’s #1 entrepreneurs’ organization. After seven months abroad, Matt's official title became Adventurer in Residence, heading up Under30Media's travel company Under30Experiences. Shawna Haggerty Events Manager After building the world's top entrepreneurs' organization in the country with Matt at Bryant University, Shawna went on to be a Senior Program Coordinator at Harvard Business School where she travelled the world coordinating Executive Education conferences. Shawna’s expertise has brought her to as far as Shanghai, Dubai, and Peru - fuelling her desire to earn her Master of Tourism Administration at The George Washington University in 2012. Cara Murphy Editor Cara Murphy graduated from Lafayette College in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in English and Psychology. Unable to focus on only one endeavor, she is Associate Marketing Manager at the Juvenile Diabetes Cure Alliance and Managing Editor at Lifestyle and Charity Magazine in addition to being Assistant Editor at Under30Media. She believes that the power of writing and transformative experience of travel is the catalyst for personal development. She hopes to travel the world and inspire others to pursue their passion and work toward a brighter future. Cesar Romero Community Manager Cesar’s passion for entrepreneurship began with Moomkin, a cloud-based solutions networking platform and after his first Under30Experience to his native country Nicaragua, he knew he had to get on board with what this team is building and bridge the gap between online and offline networking. Cesar led the group to the US Embassy, translated for microfinance clients in Spanish, and always enjoys sleeping in a hammock. Cesar's life goal is to add value to everyone he meets and heads up our social media efforts. Deborah Oster Pannell Interview Editor Deborah Oster Pannell, a Smith College graduate, is a writer who specializes in the arts, innovative & socially responsible businesses and organizations, health & wellness and special events. For the last several years, she has been Director of Communications for the tech start-up eventwist, where she writes about great NYC spaces and the notable events taking place in them, at their blog. She is currently preparing to launch Project Mavens, a content branding firm.
